TIPS is sponsoring a networking/mentoring event for the DBA’s young lawyers on Wednesday, October 25, 2016 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Belo. The format is a roundtable discussion with five guest mentors to discuss their practices, networking and business development activities. This program is provided for lawyers who have been practicing 8 years or less. No DBA or section membership is required.
Young lawyer attendees will benefit from our guest mentors’ experience, tips and wisdom for building a successful legal career. Our esteemed guest mentors are:

- Anne Ashby (Arbitrator, Mediator, former judge of the 134th JDC)
- Ellen Van Meir (Thompson Coe)

There will be a half-hour reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. before the event, followed by three 30-minute roundtable discussions with a small group of up to 10 young lawyers (2 rotations, 90 minutes total), and a 30-minute happy hour to conclude the event. Hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be served at the reception and happy hour following the event. Application for 1.5 hours of CLE credit is being submitted.
